Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Description

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a massage technique that uses gentle repetitive strokes to stimulate the flow of lymphatic fluid throughout the body. The main functions of the lymphatic system is to collect excess fluid from your body's tissues and filter out waste, bacteria, abnormal cells and other foreign toxins before returning the fluid to your bloodstream. This process helps prevent fluid build up in your tissues which otherwise would lead to edema (swelling). Manual Lymphatic Drainage can be beneficial for a variety of issues including but not limited to: - reduced fluid retention, inflammation, and swelling - immune system support and promote healing of tissues - relief of sinus congestion caused by illnesses, sinus infections or allergies - stress management - contribute to a health gut environment
